It's been a month now since I've started at HU. So far it is going amazingly well! I love my classes and the people I've met are great! I've got a lot of reading to do for almost all my classes but that's ok. Sometimes I'd rather read than write a paper. I've learned soo much already and I love that I'm at a Christian school as well :) This month is going way better than any of my two years at BSU. I feel genuinely happy here and not just with friends but with my classes and at chapel! At BSU I was only happy when I was hanging with friends, at BCM, or working. And the 30-40 minute commute isn't bad at all. I actually don't mind it at all and I'm also starting to become more of a morning person, which is good since on Tuesdays & Thursdays my 1st class starts at 8:30 am. This has been a great fit for me so far! God really does know what He is doing!
One last thing... In a class of mine we started this project for Lent. It's a spiritual disciplines project and basically what that means is you have to choose a spiritual discipline (i.e. Prayer, Fasting, Bible Study, Devotion) that you want to work on for the 40 days of Lent. For my project I've chosen to work on an area that has been a struggle for me. It's going to be on reading my Bible 3 times a week (shooting for daily but gotta start small 1st) and having a personal Bible study. And also including some silence in my day so that I can hear God speak to me, which that has been hard. I'm asking that you please keep me in your prayers as I do this project and just pray that God will give me the motivation I need to stick with my plan. Thank you!
God Bless!

@NSsoccer06@xanga - Thanks! And this is my first semester here. Wasn't my first choice. I wanted to go to IWU but I never heard from them so I came here. But now I can see that God totally intervened for me to come here. I love it here... work was fun with you there and then you had to leave that next year :( but it's all good... haha!
